Dollar General — Local services in Huron Charter Township

Today my mother was in this location returning cans, limearitas to be exact which are sold in this location as other DG locations but was told they don't except bottle returns. My mother advised them they are supposed to take back bottles/cans that are sold by the store and the manager told her that they still don't and that was a mistake. She went to the back to grab another case of the same beverage and saw a basket FULL of bottles and cans. She did confront them about her findings and was told they would take them back "this" time by another worker. I looked up the law specifically for dollar general returns and found they are REQUIRED to take bottles back so I wonder is only this specific DG is exempt? Clarification would be great because as a former DG employee I...

I really like this location.. It's just sad 2 C how people N the community, don't respect this business... The worker's R Very Nice, and I feel bad 4 them, because they try 2 keep the store 2gether, with such a low amount of staff... Also, those who shop their, should return item's, too there proper area, instead of leaving the item's on the floor or N the wrong area... When, I C store's like this, where customers just DON'T CARE, it's Truly, Truly Sad!!! Hang N Their All Who Work So, Hard 2 Keep This Store Clean, and Well Stocked.. Not a bad place if I need something quick. Two cashier guys are super nice and seem good at their jobs. The place is total chaos though, and it is extremely dirty and unorganized.
