A quiet conservation area of McHenry County with plenty of flat trails for walks across the acreage. Numerous trees surrounding a pond were some enjoy fishing, picnics, and simple leisure time. Several covered picnic area pavilions exist for families to enjoy grilling or conversation. Trees are close enough together to allow for the possibility to tie up a few hammocks.

This place has a lot to offer. Beautiful spots located around the lake to picnic, fish, or both! Majestic hiking trails for those who wish to take a nice long hike or short stroll through the conservation area. Great place to take the family to for the day to enjoy nature at it's BEST!

So beautiful and peaceful. Nice walking trails and good fishing, too. There is a picnic shelter overlooking the pond and benches all around as well. Restrooms are available right down the paved path from the shelter. Usually visit on the weekends, and it is never too crowded.
