It is not a terrible place by any stretch but I give it a 3 out of 5. It has bathrooms and the pier is nice, a map I saw online said it is about 16 ft deep just off the dock. The path around the old gravel pit turned pond is dirt and gravel/grass, not paved. The deepest spot is on the opposite side of the pond from the dock. I saw saw some dog poo that wasn't cleaned up and it smelled bad around the trail. It was also very loud due to the busy road on the other side of the pond, not to mention all the kayakers for such a small pond. You do need to have them leashed when walking but I let my dog 🐕 go in the water to cool off as long as nobody is around.
