Lots of options, clean store, employee knowledge I experienced today was meh. I rarely shop here because of how expensive the food mark up is, but I needed pineapple soda. I called to make sure they had some which I got a confused “um” and a “no we do not carry that” in response. I went anyways one of the first few sodas I found was in fact the pineapple soda. Not bothering to look or ask someone else about it and giving me an immediate no is not good customer service.

Don’t get the premade sandwich’s!! They are just scrap meat your basically getting just bread, And we got sick from them. Added: those are working man hands but you wouldn’t know anything about that. All you do is place new dates on old meat! I could add those photo if you like. Also I posted this review 2yrs ago and you just now felt the need to come back with that come back😂 oh big scary!

I've gone to Karsch's quite a bit since I moved to Imperial but this last experience may change how often I go.

Regarding their summer 2017 promotion for glass containers. The promotion was you'd get 1 stamp for $10 spent and fill in cards. Each card had 10 spaces, so you'd have to spend $100 to fill in 1 card. A certain number of cards got you a certain container size. My wife and I thought this was a great promotion and decided to participate. We made it a point to go to the Barnhart store during this time and at the end we had purchase enough product to get the largest container available(5 cards, $500). Once we had all our stamps we came to the store to cash in. Every time we got there they were out. We were told to come back on specific days and we would but they'ed still be out. This went on for 3 weeks. Then on the final day we could cash in, once again no containers. I was told by a manager when I called to get some answers that this was happening because the company that was actually providing the containers wouldn't send more. I understand that isn't their fault but the whole situation doesn't sit right with me and I can only imagine there are others. It feels very much like a bait and switch scheme. I spent all this money thinking I was participating in a promotion, only to be denied every time I tried to cash in after following all the rules.

Also the manager I talked to on the phone didn't seem to care of what I had to say. He didn't even apologize for any inconvenience. He pushed blame on the promotion company and said to contact the owner.

I feel very much baited and switched. I know its not 100% Karsch's fault but at the end of the day this was happening in their store and in my eyes its made them look bad. Can't say for sure that I'll go back...

After giving the store their required advanced notice of 24 hrs for "to go orders" for cooked chicken livers & gizzards, the entire order was burnt, therefore not edible. Not living locally, contacted store by phone. After explaining my dissatisfaction, & willing to return order to store as proof. I asked for a replacement order that was properly cooked. Even willing to wait the required 24 hrs & returning the next day to pick up the replacement order. Inconvenient & more cost to me, sure, but mistakes happen. Staff response to my complaint & resolution was simply, but curtly put, "Sorry, bye," & I was hung up on. After an initial feeling of disbelief at the way I was personally treated as a regular store customer, blatant disrespect for customer service soon made me very angry. Instead of choosing one of the many over-reactions I could have chosen, writing this review gives a warning to existing &/or potential customers before wasting time, effort & money at a facility where at least one employee's definition of what customer service is & lack of another employees cooking skills when cooking organ meat. I now drive further for excellent tasting, properly cooked & seasoned chicken livers and gizzards to a facility that doesn't require a 24 hr. notice. The total wait time from placing my order to receiving so far has been 12 minutes. Their chicken fried steak meal is excellent also. I plan on trying other items on the menu thanks to their friendly staff...

I use to consider this store my local convenient place to shop, I will now go out of my way to shop somewhere else. My husband and I took my brother in to shop for groceries. My brother wanted to get some deli meat. The deli lady was standing there chatting w/someone else and my brother was just gonna look to see what they had, you could tell she was aggravated to be interrupted, my brother said oh no it's ok I'm just looking to see if you had deli meat and she said w/a sorry attitude "yeah we have deli meat" (like he was an idiot for asking such a dumb question) so he said nevermind I'm not even gonna shop here. (Which I didn't blame him) I still was gonna grab a few things. The manager came strolling through and you could tell he was watching us,we told him what happened and you could tell he didn't really give a shot what we said he acted like we did something wrong. Well I continued to still grab what i needed and checked out. When we exited the store the owner (manager) came out and said my husband and brother could never come back and started taking pictures of our vehicle. Needless to say they argued back and forth and he said he was calling cops but they never showed. Anyway last visit to Karschs NEVER will they see a penny of my money ever again. Teach your employees respect and take customer complaints a little more serious. Zero stars for being an unprofessional...
