In the Country Garden & Gifts — Local services in Independence

I drove about 2.5 hours to visit this garden center about 1 month ago due to rave reviews on a couple plant Facebook pages I am a part of. I love houseplants and they did not disappoint! I was able to get several wishlist plants including a variegated rubber plant (tineke), Alocasia black velvet (with HUGE new leaf pictured), string of hearts, string of turtles, variegated string of hearts, and a couple of pines we are making into bonsai trees! All of the plants we bought were 100% healthy, no pests, and are putting out tons of new growth since bringing them home. Could not recommend this garden center enough, I want to come back to visit! I love love love this place!!!!! It's 143 miles away from me, but worth every minute of the drive. Wonderful owners, friendly service and great healthy plants. I just received a shipment I ordered online. The grasses I ordered look great, were well packaged and arrived quickly.
