I have had a disappointing experience with the Indian Center in Pittsburgh PA. My grandmother, who recently passed away, was a registered Indian and dedicated over 50 years of service to the center. Despite multiple attempts to apply for my Indian number and receive important mail, I have faced issues with mail tampering and lost documents. The staff at the center claim they never received my priority mail, which is concerning and potentially illegal. As a young entrepreneur seeking to apply for small business loans using my Indian number, I have found the process to be frustrating and filled with obstacles. It is disheartening to encounter shady business practices when trying to access services meant for Native American individuals.
