Monkey Hollow has lovely grounds and ambiance, however my entire group was horrified by the remarks of a man working there (possibly the owner). There were two dogs that seem to live on the grounds and they were very sweet and friendly. The dogs were politely saying hello to another group of guests when an older gentleman who had served us drinks came by and told them “Just kick him in the head and he’ll leave you alone. Just kick him in the head.” If this is how he talks to guests casually, imagine how he treats those dogs when no one is around. Horrendous...

Beautiful place. Outside views were gorgeous. Would prefer to buy my tastings and go sit down rather than use the same plastic cup for each taste. She told me people spend more on wine since the tasting was free. I would have tasted more and probably bought something if I could have paid for a group of tastes. The location is pretty, the wine is great. I bought 4 bottles. The pork chop dinner was delicious and the music of Seth was enjoyable. My only complaint was with the two ladies running the counter.
