Great park for the family! Gibbs has all kinds of activities for everyone: huge disk golf course, trails for hiking or nature watching, a pond to relax by on a dock or fish in (permit license required), and even a hill for sledding in the winter! Please be aware, there are no bathrooms at this park but there are port-a-potties located at each shelter!

Park is also ADA-accessible including dedicated spots with paved walkways to shelters. The pond even has an wheelchair accessible dock.

There are two shelters that can be reserved: Bluegill - 24'x44' - $75 per day Firefly - 20'x36' - $50 per day

A quick note to parents headed to the playground: There is not enough parking at the playground itself, the firefly shelter would be the next best spot with a...

We visited for the first time today. We loved all the trees and the trails were nice. We spotted four tiny toads along the path. We walked to the top of the sled hill and it was cool to see the whole park. The back of the hill has lots of thistle which apparently brings lots of butterflies! There are many benches and picnic tables which was great. The playground is a fun design but this was really the only negative part we noticed. While my boys, age 5 & 8 somewhat enjoyed playing, the designer of the playground definitely missed a mark. My 5 year old had to duck in a few places and my 8 year had to duck nearly everywhere which caused him to stop playing after about ten minutes. In general we had a good time and...

One of my favorite Disc Golf parks in central Indiana located in the outskirts of Avon/Danville. This fun and scenic 18 hole course is suited for beginners or even pros since they have short and long tee pads for each basket. One thing that I love about this course is that you get to toss some discs off the top of a 30ft hill and I will say it's quite the view from above.

If you are not super into disc golf no worries, they also have a playground tucked in the woods with several walking trails that are well maintained and also loop around the place along with several lakes near the area. Overall a stellar place if you are looking for a place to unwind or play a round...
