So I Actually Enjoyed Staying at Meridian Lakes The apartment was a nice first time apartment for me and my two toddlers maintenance did pretty well with requests BUT my issue ran with the property manager HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE No matter time or day she always seemed to have a rude, snotty attitude. (Many others spoke out on this same Experience) anyhow I Moved Out of my apartments because my home was broken into when I took my police report to the office the next morning saddened and distressed to inform her of the situation she lacked any bit of empathy and completely ridiculed my situation as if it was a joke! and proceeded to say “well if you want to break your lease it’s going to cost you” in the rudest most nonchalant way! My home where my 2 & 4 year old was just broken into and the first thing you say is that I have to pay to leave when I hadn’t even mentioned it…? besides my least was up in literally a few weeks why would I break it? Fast forward to me moving out they didn’t give me back my $750+ security deposit kept it for “replacement of carpet” and end up charging me an additional $300+ for random un-noted fees and charges I Have OCD! I LEFT MY APARTMENT literally MOVE IN READY, (no stains, marks) Completely spotless! And maintenance even ok’d me and said it looked great when we did our walk through, SO I Requested proof of this disastrous carpet they claimed I had that was worth $700+ of my full security deposit and it was BLACK and WHITE photos of “my apartment” you can see stains on black & white WHERE ARE THE DAMAGES worth an entire carpet replacement!? Then sent the bill to Collections an ENTIRE month before even notifying & mailing the invoice to me I couldn’t believe it,Just ridiculous. Beware Apartments can be great but MANAGEMENT always makes or breaks your stay! Delena was her name. Move there ONLY if she’s gone, trust me save yourself...
Read moreI moved in August of 21, and I've had so many problems with maintenance and my unit. When I first moved in Everything was alright, I was told I would be getting a washer/dryer two weeks after moving in so no big deal. Ashley the Assistant Manager was the best she helped me with everything during that time and tried her best but, I didn't get a functioning one until DECEMBER. I had 4 different washer/dryers installed it was ridiculous, And then when they got one to work the person who installed it didn't attach the hose on my washer so it flooded the bathroom floor and ruined it, They ended up tearing up the floor putting a new one in. Now my Microwave hasn't worked for almost 2 months and I've contacted the office 3 times now and have asked them when they will come and repair it to no reply or update. It's completely new workers in there and Ashley left a couple of months ago now so don't expect the best of anyone in there. It's been nothing but issues since day 1
*update February 22’ Okay so I’ve been living here almost 2 years now. The maintenance has gotten better. Everytime my heat went out when it was freezing under 10 degrees they were out at my apartment within hours. Well done. My opinion has changed to this place being a very “okay” overall apartment complex. Only issues I have is getting in touch with someone from the office can be a...
Read moreSo far, I have been here since the 10 May, I took pictures and videos of things that needed to be done. I was told that they will be here on Monday. I understand when I moved in. It was towards the weekend. I come home today to check on my place which is actually Tuesday morning and things are still not done. I hope I do not have to continue to deal with bad maintenance. I moved here from my house for a short period of time. And this makes me realize why I do not like apartment complexes At some point in time during the day, I know this could have been done Meaning the work that I took pictures of and requested, they had been here for two weeks working on this apartment that is what I was told, and things are not completed I’m just now understanding when you know, you have a new tenant move into a place everything should be finished and complete before the...
