Metate Ranch | San Andreas Fault Jeep Tour — Local services in Indio

This review is for their event business, not the jeep tour. Cannot recommend holding an event here, the owner was unprofessional in dealing with us. We tried to host our wedding here but were met with obstacles every step of the way. The owner never returned our calls when we tried to arrange a tour. We eventually showed up at their office and she showed us the property. After the tour she was again completely unresponsive on follow-up questions and even when we told her we were ready to book she just stopped returning our calls. It does not seem that they are interested in hosting weddings anymore.

Edit: in response to the owner’s feedback I would like to clarify: we reached out over phone, text message and email, all to no avail. She never replied to tell us that the venue was not available or provide any resources. After the tropical storm she assured us the venue would likely be ready by Feb 2024 and that she would confirm two weeks later. She then completely ghosted us over all lines of communications and the first thing we have heard from her since is the below response. Fantastic guide! D. Black Feather was extremely informative and funny. Had tons of pictures to go along with the great information he had to give. Learned a lot of new things about the area and had a great time along the way. The tour was just over 3 hours. There was a cooler, we always had access to, of cold water and towels, plus a spray bottle for a nice mist if it gets really hot. There were 2 opportunities for bathroom breaks. Christopher Francis was our tour guide for Red Jeep Tours when we visited Palm Springs and went to see the San Andreas Fault. Christopher, who we affectionately dubbed “Super Chris”, was amazing in so many ways. He was energetic, charismatic, and full of information that he delivered with flare in his British accent that kept us wanting to hear more and more.
