Step aboard Boaty McBoatFace for some good times and adventure! At Kelley's recommendation, we scheduled an early tour. While there's no magical dolphin want to make them appear, we saw plenty. Capt. Kelley's knowledge and familiarity with the area made for an education and unforgettable time. We saw male dolphins. We saw female dolphins with calves. We watched trawlers bring in their hauls. We saw pods of dolphins swimming, playing, and hunting.

We learned quite a bit about the oil industry in the region, international shipping channels, and got up close with some European oil freighters. And, because my boys were interested, Capt. Kelley was gracious enough to take us by one (of three) of North America's largest cranes.

My daughter and I had a most wonderful encounter with a great number of dolphins on August 17, 2022, in the skilled hands of Captain Kelly. We spent over an hour interacting with what had to be almost two dozen dolphins, as they played and frolicked in an entrancing dance.

Daughter here! Can't say enough good about this tour. This was one of the top 5 amazing experiences of my life. We started off seeing a baby dolphin swimming with its mom - we got lucky, as babies are more commonly seen in March - May & we went in August. And then more dolphins, and more. We saw dolphins engaged in a mating ritual! We saw pink bellies! Wild dolphins leaping, rolling, flipping, playing, sometimes within an arm's length away from the boat. Truly unforgettable. Captain Kelly was awesome - full of cool dolphin facts and stories. She was flexible and fun, great at handling the boat, and took video for us so we could focus on the experience. The boat ride itself was a fun experience. The boat was comfortable, shaded with a canopy, so as not to further exacerbate the sunburn I had from the day before, and stocked with ice cold water. Dolphin Connection was a highlight of my Honeymoon. I can not recommend this experience enough. My husband and I went on a private charter with our two dogs. It was awe-inspiring. Captain Kelley, is a retired English teacher and she brings that energy. She is enthusiastic and excited at all of the wonder these majestic creatures bring. She is also educational and informative telling us not only about the dolphins but also the port, the types of ships and their duties, as well as the birds and other wildlife. While you can never truly predict if you will see wildlife on an excursion, we saw so many dolphins I lost count. Some dolphins were on their own, some traveling in pods, dolphins hunting, dolphins mating, and swimming with their newborns. I have never been a "dolphin girl" I just saw that it was something we could do with the dogs so we impulsively that morning decided to. I can now say that I finally understand the magnificence of these creatures. This is a fantastic activity with anyone you know; be it kids, friends, or even your dogs!
