Parrill's Trading Post — Local services in Inwood

This store has a ton of items for a gift shop, but if you're handicapped forget it. I couldn't get a wheelchair in unfortunately, and we really wanted to. There was a very friendly lady there who offered to help me, but then there was another cashier who had a very unsavory attitude. The place is impeccably organized and stocked and there's something for everyone, so I can ignore an attitude because we're going back for that sword my son touched. 😊 He didn't know they were off limits, but he does now. I stopped here omw home from OC. I, accidentally, left my change purse behind with my ID and several credit cards in it. I live almost 2hrs away. I called and they confirmed that I had left it there. I asked if they could PLEASE mail it to me. I said they could use one of my cards and mail it to the address on my license. I, honestly, don't know anyone else that would do this...but the owner did this for me and I am forever grateful to her!! I like the store and the people who run it. But for the life of me I don't understand why they sell China made crap!? Like why? Why not have local artists art in the store? My father makes knifes why not have that? My friend makes soaps and candles, and beard oil why not have that? Or homemade pottery? I know lots of local artists who could make your business so much better. The only good thing you sell is local honey. This place has so much more potential. It's disappointing to go in there and just see...
