Went to get some landscaping materials today. Got a larger than usual load. We check in at the gate to drive back and get it. After walking around for ten mins looking for someone we found a lady who we thought could help. We asked for her assistance, gave her our ticket, and she said âThis is a self help lot where customers always load their own vehiclesâ. Really? We buy 30 bags of mulch and 200 landscaping stones and fencing and you tell us to load it ourselves??!! Are you kidding me?! She then puts two bags of mulch in our truck and disappears. Gone. Nowhere to be found (and neither is any other worker; lots of customers though). So, as we were told, we load it OURSELVES. We go to leave and the guy at the gate says âyou have the wrong stuff in your truck. Youâre gonna have to unload it or pay the difference.â After walking back all the way through the store to the materials desk and then back up to the front twice and waiting 20 mins in the customer service return line, I was just tickled pink to find out that it was all the same fân price. Itâs just sad. We moved here from the Quad Cities 4 months ago and loved Menards there; canât say the same about the customer service at this store. I guess we will be closing our Menards charge and opening a Loweâs...
   Read moreSpotty, at best. You can often find what you need at a decent price. However, asking for help is often a mixed bag. When attempting to order simple insulation, the contractor desk gave me the wrong insulation. I went out to the yard and loaded the correct ones and thankfully the security guy caught it. However, I had been sold more expensive bats that were the wrong kind to fit the spacing in my wall. It was $30 more for those bats. I had to go back to the service desk after going back to the the contractor desk and Raul run all over the store just to get it fixed. I was screwing around for an extra hour. Worse. When I went to load the first time I had to get somebody because they had only two of the three that I needed. Someone came eventually but when they move things around they put unfaced bats in the place where craft bats go. So when I went back to get the order that was finally fixed an hour later almost they had filled the area that was supposed to be filled with craft-faced with unfaced and I couldn't get to the ones I needed. An extra hour or so screwing around because somebody was tired or hungover...

When finally a call still over 45 min later clear in to afternoon. People have lifes. Even guy in Menards rude about hole situations. I was so unpleased. But when arriving my garage door open . Man in truck snuggled. Refrigerator was face down. Well brought into house hook up elec horrible sound I am like no no ! Then he say wheel may broken back . I said well you need do something! He gave excuse. I would have to tip Refrigerator. Hey sir you already did... I think you know wheel broken. Then Givin me excuse my floor sunck ....when it Frick in cement! ! The noise coming froming the wheels!! Ok menards he refuse to take back thinking I stuid woman!!! Sorry $2000.00 plus you stupid fee $ $130.00 for 13 miles. Think again! My son-in-law does tremendous business with guys. As a business owner!! I expect you will hear very soon. Good luck. Come get...
