Brian and Trish are good friends to all, and stand up people to those deserving, and now a permanent staple in the local firearm scene. (It is Vermont, the 2A lovers paradise in the north east and always will be) In fact if you are a true lover of art of the rifle (pistols too!), this would be a stop worth making. If not to talk guns, and what's going on in the world of firearms, to at least check out their inventory of stuff that no body else in the area carries. (No over priced Browning dealer here) From your regular hunting rifles and self defense pistols that you find elsewhere, to unique stuff such as beautiful sharps rifles, and milsurp rifles like Arisakas, Mausers, garands,. Ohh my! (Had to do it lol) You will even find the occasional gem in the budget friendly rack(tastefully done sporting mausers and springfields,and good for all, used shotguns), or the elusive Lugers and c96 Mauser pistol just hanging out in the case every so often. Even next to a beautiful colt, Smith and Wesson, or by one of his own stylish custom hand assembled 1911a1 pistols, they remain a new sight ever time over and over as you notice something new every time. I really shouldn't say the name, but he even uses a world leading 1911 frame manufacturer from right here in good old Vermont. US made, VT made, top notch. So the prices are not Armscorp low, but if built right, (the way you ask!) most mid range budgets can be had.(I find being as nice to him as he is to you helps,wink wink.)(VT is a one hand washes the other place you know?) Don't forget he is a 07 FFl with a SOT 2, if you know what that means, you can imagine the toy shop that hides in the back machine room. 1919a4, mg42, mac10, sten, soumi, Kalashnikov, M4a4, tubes and baffles, sbr, sbs, if you got that you know what's up. Gotta love the dulite hot blueing, hydro dipping, cerakote, even a little mill, lathe, or bead blasting action here and there. Need a bad mamajamba one off knife by a known forge? Yeah they have a few of those to, along with the Kershaws, bokers, cold steels too. Even a odd rare bayonet here and there also. Have a question about a old hand made or military blade you got, there is even a guy that knows his skiddles on that too. Personally from me to you, a little too much so, had to poke bud! Really enjoy this place, and the people too, they always put a smile on a tired face when I walk in. A escape for myself and many from a long day. Highly recommend checking them out if...

I wandered into GMSG store last night. We don't get over that way often coming out of Brownington. As I walked in the door, to my left, a whole wall of stone and rock display captured my eye. We haven't been this way in over a year. I tell you what folks. What a great setup. I am a rock guy, from a rock Family. lol But Imma telling you, this display works. The rest of the store is right on par with the stone and rock display. Sharp, clean, orderly... a lot of space to move. Pricing is surprising low for the stones and their are some very beautiful and unique pieces. The staff as always, respectful, knowledgeable and of course friendly. If anything... stop by for some ammo, which they have an abundance of and in most calibers and grab some rocks for the grand kids; maybe pick up one of those outstanding looking M1's they have three of. lol Be safe Peoples. Green Mountain Sporting Goods is a great place to find anything you'd need and want. A great selection of firearms, and collectors pieces. Awesome people and they are great at working on any valuable, special guns you might have. I drive almost an hour and a half to see them to chat and view their wide selection of firearms - it's worth it every time. They even have a pretty cool collection of crystals/stones and like treasures, which is super neat & the main reason my wife often enjoys taking the trip with me when I go. Definitely recommend to anyone possibly traveling through or even just looking for a good, new shop. Also hope to see these guys at the local gun shows next year! Always had a good experience looking for new rifles they have & it's just a really cool plus that they've got the sweet crystal collection...
