I am not certain how this area can even be called a "commons" any longer. Most stores have left this "commons" including Kmart, Fashion Bug, On-cue, Hallmark, just to name a few. There are so few stores left in this little "commons" that I feel the most populated one is probably the grocery store. Some say it is high rent, others state that town attempts to block stores from coming in, yet I do not pretend to know the answer. I only know that this lot that was once vibrant and had room to grow has become a far cry from what it once was and in order to keep the people in this area shopping locally they actually have to have something local to shop at. This is nothing compared to what it once was 25 years ago and it does not give off the appearance that it even wants to be with boards on some windows and garbage floating around the corners of the once populated stores. Service though lacks helpfulness and deli food is on display for long lengths of time- means they are dried out.
Meats department is better aspect of store with freshness and quality but one pays for it with higher prices than elsewhere.
Liquor department has variety and does include refrigerated national brands beers and craft beers. Includes wines and specialty alcohols.
Full checkout and baggers but no carryout assist.
Overall, store is a hit/miss in that products are diverse and plentiful (even if on higher price points & sales that aren't necessarily true sales) but with understanding service...
