Backwoods Trading Post — Local services in Irving Township

Backwoods Trading Post is my go-to spot for anything archery. I was passed down my Dad's Mathews Z7 and they set it up for me perfectly - changing out the cam, new strings/ peep, etc. I also brought in my Dad's crossbow to have it restrung and they did an excellent job with that too. Their prices are in line with others in the market (GV Sporting Goods, Archery Unlimited). They are very informative and help you make the right decision that fits your needs - not trying to sell you on anything, but help you have the best experience possible. Never been there, called every shop from Holland to Kalkaska. Absolutely nobody had a bolt stabilizer spring but them. This guy stayed open late and custom modified the wrong spring to fit my crossbow so I could hunt the morning and didn’t charge me a dollar extra. 5 stars doesn’t cut it, Aaron displayed the epitome of customer service to a complete stranger in a small town shop. I am so so happy with going to Backwoods. A friend of mine told me about this place. I couldn't believe it, but my friend was right. This place is AWESOME!!!! I have been telling everyone about it since I have left. I went in and ready to upgrade my bow. Aaron was there to help me. Aaron helped me dial my sites in and helped with equipment selection.
