Country Corner Market & Deli LLC — Local services in Isabella Township

I am going to tell this story in hopes the people behind the store will take more consideration. I was going to take my 4 year old daughter into the store, we drove from Mt pleasant. I open my door to get out and my daughter screams mommy there killing that other dog. I look over and over the fence is three dog EATING another animal. I didn't see him moving. I called the store and talked to the recept. She was very friendly!! A few minutes later a man comes out and takes the dog's out of the pen. My daughter balling her eyes out days mommy there leaving that dog the puppies were eating, they didn't even check on him, let's take him to the hospital. I waited for someone to come check on the animal, and as it lay in the pen clearly dead, Daughter traumatized, I decided to take my business elsewhere.

This might have been a old deer or animal for there pets I get that... just maybe pick a better spot.

Also I'm sure there store is probably wonderful.

A little under a year ago I was on my way to work in a snow storm and got a flat tire right in front of this store. It was 15 minutes before they closed so I left my car outside and called for service and wandered the store until they closed. One of the workers approached me and asked if I needed anything, so I explained to her my story and left to sit in my cold car (while eating some amazing crackers they sold). The woman came up to my car 10 minutes later and said it was too cold for me to sit outside and said I could sit in their back room until my service arrived. I was a crying mess because I was late for work and already had a terrible week, and she was so kind and friendly. I just love this store. The deli has great products and unbeatable prices. Trust me, a mom with a budget - I live for these stores. Plus they often have hot dogs and yogurt at a steep discount due to close outs. There are items in the freezers, too. Peppridge Farm cakes for $2.50 - that's half what you pay anywhere else.

Plus if you like to bake or cook, there are tons of ingredients. I'm a baker and there are things I've never heard of, and things I can't imagine using. It's like a dream. Lots of different flours, sugars, oatmeals, even bulk...
