Yellow Dog River Falls is a very easy hike to access during all seasons! Putting this location into your GPS will take you directly here. If you continue down the road a ways, you'll find Big Pup Falls, though this place only has a sign on a tree and is down a ravine. Now, getting back on track, these falls are about a half of a mile from the parking area. If you go down a dead end path, it's likely a fishing spot. Just backtrack the short distance and get back on the main trail. You'll hear them, don't you worry! If you continue down the pathway, you'll come across 3 or 4 more. My dog was not having a 3rd walk in a cold, crisp winter evening, so we didn't see the ones past it this winter. There is always next year! If you're headed back to Marquette, be sure to plug Alder Falls into your GPS and check that one out! You may have to search for the trailhead for that one, but it too is easy to find! Happy hiking!

Short easy hike down and some pretty falls. The first fall you get to is the prettiest and the trail is the easiest to the first. You really aren't missing much other than a nice walk if you stop there. You are pretty remote when you get here and will not have cell service so have a map or your route downloaded. I would recommend also stopping at nearby Pinnacle falls. Pinnacle is a more primitive trail but only .6 miles down, rather steep coming back up so be in reasonable shape for that one.

Easy hike. There are a series of 3 falls if you continue walking past the first waterfall. About 1/2 mile hike to first Waterfall. Small parking area that fits 5-6 cars next to the road. For some reason there is no sign at the parking area identifying the falls however, there is a sign several miles away where you turn down the road.

Absolutely horrible! Spent and hour driving out to this, its poorly marked, it's a narrow sand road. We got a mile from it and the road was washed out. Looks like it had been that way for awhile given the plant growth. Dont attempt if you dont have a 4x4. If you encounter another car, one car ends up driving backwards pretty far until there is a place to pull off for the car to pass. Couldn't get there because there was no where to park as trucks may have been...
