Lyback's Ice Fishing — Local services in Isle Harbor Township

First I want to say that I have nothing against the ice house that was provided. It was clean, warm and had everything we needed. But I do want to say that the location of the house was very poor for the time of year that we were fishing (1/29/2017). We were fishing in 12 feet of water and only caught one perch in the house. We actually only marked a few fish the whole 12 hours. My son had success by going into deeper water and then he marked perch and walleyes and caught them. I know there website says they pride themselves on moving houses frequently but in my case I feel they did not. We may have just went at a bad time where they didn't have a chance to move the house. Knowing what I know now my lesson learned is to tell them very early in the day that you think there is a problem with the location. Not much I can do...

Eddie and Cindy are two great people. Had trouble with my boat trailer in July. Had to leave my boat in Minnesota. I Live in Missouri. I didn't get to return till September. My trailer was repaired in July. (No storage fee, And kept my boat inside). Even charged my batteries so I wouldn't lose a day of fishing. Rented a 3 bedroom house of theirs. Right on the lake. Owners and employees are warm and welcoming, they are very informative and kept me up to date on the fishing report, the conditions of the roads, and the ice ridges. Prices are very reasonable, fish houses are clean and tidy and was all set up so we could get right to fishing! We caught a few walleyes, perch and even seen a few pike passing through!
