Awesome shop. My lady and I decided to make the short drive from Seattle to discover the wonderland that is Purple Tornado Art Studio, Antiques, Rock and Lapidary Shop in Issaquah. Proprietor, Collector, and extremely knowledgeable John W. answered all our many questions about his amazing selection of not only Antiques and Oddities but also huge selection of top quality minerals, gems, and jewelry. He gave us a very fair price on our treasures. Great shop + Friendly and Knowledgeable Owner + Amazing Collection = an A+ establishment. We will definitely be returning an definitely taking a class with John. Awesome adventure!! Call before you go!

I had a delightful experience buying a ring here today! The owner was really knowledgeable - he makes beautiful things! And his wife was really nice too. I read a few of the one star reviews and just wanted to mention that they’re all silliness! Shopping as a gal by myself I felt comfortable and relaxed looking around his shop while he worked on a project. If you’re looking for a cool gift or a new piece of jewelry this is a fun place to stop, especially if you’ve been driving by on your commute and haven’t stopped in. Excellent antique store, and I'm sure it's equally as good if you're more geologically inclined. He really just has such a large collection of amazing items; and a couple of cool sections in the store itself like the Knight's Templar corner and the one with artifacts from West & Central Africa. The selection is so large I had trouble choosing! Kind owner and clearly is passionate about what he does. Will be visiting again (without taking...
