They moved at some point from 10760 I-35W Frontage Rd, Grandview, TX 76050 to here. We originally learned of this place from a lady that was selling the bread at the Grand Prairie Farmer's Market. When she stopped going, we started going to them. It has been a while since my wife and I visited the old store. We drove down 10/6 to the old site and they were gone! They moved to downtown Itasaca. It is an additional 13 miles south from the old location. I will include photos. They have a lot more room in this location. It is easily twice the size of the old site. They have more tables to eat at, about 8 I think. They still have the same amazing baked goods. My primary reason for going was just some good German bologna. However, I had no delusions of only buying bologna when I go there. When we walked in most of the tables were full with customers eating and several roaming the store. Food to eat there is ordered in the back by filling out a sheet with what you want. They make the sandwich as soon as you turn in the sheet. Your options are either a wrap, sandwich, 6- or 12-inch sub. They have a lot of meat options on the back of the sheet. When we finished shopping we each ordered a 6-inch which was HUGE! It is much bigger than a Subway 6-inch. The 6-inch subs standard are $4.99. So for $10 (not counting our drinks) we had lunch. They have coolers in the back with cold drinks, no fountain drinks. Up front, near the entrance is the dining area and the checkout in the middle. There is also a coffee stand near the tables. I'm not sure if it was self-serve of not. They have a great mix of things you don't always find elsewhere. If you cook or bake they have some things you might not find in a grocery store. The bread is so fresh and good you can just eat it out of the bag. I always get a jalapeno cheese bread. I bought it today and have already ate 4 slices (2 sandwiches with the German bologna. They also have fried pies. We bought 8 (don't judge me until you have tried them). Two disappeared from our bags (we left with three bags) after the sandwiches did. They also have fresh pies. It took all my strength not to by their pies. They do sell some that are about half the size of a standard pie if you are trying to limit the "damage". We left with three bags: 2 6-inch subs Large bag of pork rinds Pepsi Sweet tea 8 Fried pies Golden flaxseed 2 lbs of German Bologna Wild Cherry gummy bears Amish roll butter Whole wheat figs bars Total: $69.36 with tax I am a little bummed that they are a little further away but they have a better setup here. It was a long drive for us but still worth it to me. We don't go on a regular basis but when we get a craving, there is no decision to make.

Couldn't ask for a better lunch stop and it's just a short mile off the interstate between Fort Worth and Waco. We are so happy to have discovered this gem of a deli / market / country store! Not only were the sandwiches fresh, stacked, and delicious, but service was friendly and quick too! There's plenty to browse as well - everything food-related you've come to expect at a farmer's market all under one roof - artisan breads, baked goods, jams, nuts, candies, chips... and more!

So many great food items to choose. Old timey feel inside with Fresh items baked by hand locally. Very Amish feel looking around. Some unique craft sodas were nice to discover. Huge selection or handmade jellies and snacks. Love the herbs and spices sold there! Handmade sandwiches with a huge selection of meats and sheeses available. Guud place to get ya hangry on. Just off of Highway 35 E. I will stop by next time swinging back ooh wee.

I visited this place for the first time today. I heard about the store through word of mouth. I bought several items to try and all were great. The pumpkin fried pie was very good. Jarred brussel sprouts were also great. The people working here were also very kind. The BEST thing was the sandwich I ordered though. My goodness, I don't know how they make those sandwiches taste so good but it was amazing. Everyone kept telling me about the sandwiches and as I ordered I thought, well this just seems like a normal sandwich I could get anywhere else. I left the store and tasted the sandwich a few minutes later. NOPE! Those sandwiches are something special. It was SOOO GOOOOOD!!! If I would have tasted the sandwich before I left I also would have grabbed a loaf of that jalapeno cheddar bread to take home because it was impressive. All in all my visit to this store was a treat. I will definitely make a stop here if I am ever in the area and will encourage others to...

This is probably the best stores/delis in its style. You get twice the amount of sandwich than what you paid for. Everything in the store has a farm to market feel. The pies are amazing! I especially love the strawberry that’s smothered in whipped cream! The staff is awesome too! They are about as polite and friendly as anyone can ask for. They are also knowledgeable about almost every item on the shelf. I just wish this place was closer to where I live. But, you do get to go back to a simpler time with a drive down the highway where you can look both ways and almost not see building! Also, Itasca screams of small town coziness. Really puts things into perspective. I recommend this place to anyone that wants to have a simple, but...
