DO NOT RECOMMEND this place of business!!!…I am a Veteran…I saw a vehicle listed on autotrader and reached out to the Buckeye Superstore. I spoke with the salesman, John Crosswhite, the day before to inquire about the availability of a vehicle. He confirmed that the vehicle was still available. I then researched the vehicle on Carfax only to learn that the vehicle had prior minor damage which was not divulged on the auto trader listing of the car…The vehicle was listed as a Certified Used vehicle. After inquiring about the minor repair, with the salesman, he reached back out to me and sent me a photo of a damaged rear bumper and said that it has been repaired.
I then told him that I would like to see the vehicle and made an appointment for the following afternoon. I informed the salesman that I would be traveling for 3 hours, from my home to their place of business to see the vehicle and he assured me that he would have the vehicle ready. I also confirmed the time of my arrival on the date of my appointment. Upon arriving at the dealership, the salesman greeted me and I immediately identified a major chip in the windshield, this was also not divulged to me. In addition, to the chipped windshield, the inside of the vehicle was completely covered with dog hair and I am severely allergic to pet dander. Additionally, the outside of the vehicle was FILTHY!
After driving the vehicle, we sat down to discuss a reasonable price for the vehicle considering that the vehicle had previous damage which was originally not divulged and had an excessive amount of animal hair in it. I made a reasonable offer, only 3k less than the listed value and the salesman stated that they could not meet my offer. However, he made no counter offer or attempt to work with me even though he knew that I had made a 3 hour drive to see the vehicle only to learn that the condition of the vehicle WAS NOT as they advertised and they made NO effort to prep the vehicle prior to my arrival even though they had a 24 hour notice that I was coming. Totally disappointed at the sales representative/team….they are definitely...
Read moreMy experience at Buckeye Superstore was not up to my expectations from a car dealership. I purchased a used 2018 BMW through Evan the salesman. He was nice enough to send me photos and videos of the car. But in person the car was in worse condition than described and shown in pictures. There were scratches on the armrest and back seat panels that look to be from a dog. Also a tear on the rear door handle. On the exterior you can tell the rear bumper was repainted unfortunately. There are multiple scratches around the whole vehicle and a few dents on the passenger side. All of this was never mentioned. I understand it’s a used vehicle so it’s going to have minor imperfections but I wish I was told about its actual condition before driving out there, especially the interior. When I arrived on Thursday to test drive and look at the vehicle, everything mechanically check out well so I ended up agreeing to purchase it that day. We planned to come pick it up the car the next day so they would have time to prepare the car for me. When I arrived on Friday, it looked the same. Nothing was cleaned from interior to exterior, just ran through the wash and not even dried properly. Wheels were still full of brake dust, windows were dirty, no tire dressing and the interior was dusty. Gas was on empty in the car and they never filled it up even though they knew I had a 3 hour drive back home. You would think after spending this much money on a nice BMW they would make it look presentable to you and put some gas in it. When I confronted the salesman about all of this, he told me used cars are sold AS IS. They don’t fill up with gas or detail it fully when purchasing a used vehicle. This is not my first time purchasing a used vehicle from a car dealership. I’ve never experienced this kind of service before and will not be doing business...
Read moreI have purchased many cars in my life and this was one of the worst experiences. The lack of communication when asking questions about the Jeep was disappointing. I had to reach out a couple times to finally get an answer. I didn’t realize the person I was communicating with was not a sales person until I arrived at the dealership to look at the vehicle. My salesperson did not have the car cleaned and ready for me to look over and drive when I arrived. This was very upsetting because I communicated 2 days before arriving. I drove 4.5 hours only to have to wait another 45 minutes or so before the Jeep arrived back from the detailer. Then, in my eyes, the Jeep was not clean. It was hard to check out thoroughly when there is still grime on the outside, not to mention the condition of the interior. There were marks/dirt everywhere, from the seats to the headliner and an old pair of sunglasses in the counsel. With the amount of time I gave the dealership to prep it should have been spotless. I was disappointed in their response to the concern I had about the brakes. There is a slight shake in the steering wheel when braking so I looked at the brake discs and they appeared to be unevenly worn. The rear brake discs have me the most concerned because they were severely grooved. For a 2020 they should not be in this bad of shape. A service tech came out to look at them and said it was not covered under the factory warranty because it was a wear item. The sales person did not really want to discuss making this right. I think it’s because I was from out of town and he would never see me again. This is unacceptable. The dealership should have made it right with the brakes. Now, after purchasing a 2020 I will need to invest into replacement brakes, which should not happen on a 2020 with only...
