I booked a party for my daughter’s birthday early November. Two days before the party my mother was tested positive for COVID. Since I had been exposed I was immediately put into quarantine along with the rest of my family. I unfortunately had to cancel the party and was told I could reschedule when I needed too. Shortly after being quarantine my husband and I both tested positive and had to begin quarantine all over for 10 days after our first symptoms. This meant not leaving the house, no work, no school for my kids. After three weeks of quarantine I tried to reschedule the birthday party. When I called I was told that they were not scheduling party’s anymore due to high numbers and DeWine’s curfew. No problem, they would give me a refund. But there’s a catch...they deducted the birthday cake from the total because they made it already. Now I could understand if this wasn’t a pandemic and I had no reason to cancel my party but I was in quarantine! I had no choice but to cancel and when I tried to reschedule their policy changed. Please tell me, why am I being penalized for this. As soon as I questioned this I was treated rude and disrespectful. Why would a business want to loose not one customer but the other 15 families that were going to attend the birthday over something so small. It’s not about the $20 I’m loosing but the way they handled this. Would they rather me go against the CDC and just have the party and then expose everyone I came in contact with? I will not ever be recommending this place nor will my guest or anyone I’ve told since...
Read moreIce was well taken care of yet NOT safe to skate. The ice was not monitored! Many kids who could easily skate without the aid of "skate walkers" were Racing with them, playing bumper cars as they would skate really fast and run into each other, skating in the wrong direction, speed skating, and also just pushing the walkers across the ice in all different directions on purpose. I went to the manager and he said there was someone on the ice but she came in for a break and then had to help give out skates. No excuse! Safety should be number #1 for everyone! He said it was just at a few min. that a monitor wasn't on the ice but didn't deny that the full hour I I was skating, no one was present. Many were falling because of these issues. He offered no apologies. I gracefully graded 3 stars. Next time I will ask for my money back. Please pass this onto the owner. The manager didn't seem...
Read moreThe old grandma working kept switching from concessions to skates and never washed her hands or handled the food with gloves. When we went over to order food she came out with the food in ziplock bags with numbers on them (probably how many days they have been expired) after opening it she screamed at us. The sanitation in the bathrooms was HORRIBLE one of my friends went to the bathroom, she was surprised to see pee on the seats in the womens bathroom (dont know how that happened). After eating, skating was a NIGHTMARE, there are no safety precautions because random people are spinning out of control trying to take people heads off. 0/5 worst...
