Dreamland Mattress & Furniture — Local services in Jackson Township

We live in Myerstown, so we decided to shop local when we were looking for a low, platform bed frame. When we stopped in, the store associate, Jonny, greeted us and immediately asked how he could help. We told him what we were looking for, and he showed us the two items that he had that best matched the description we gave him. Unfortunately, the bed frames were just not quite what we were looking for. However, while we were there, we noticed their sofa sale section and fell in love with a suede three seater as soon as we sat on it to try it out. Jonny was quick to deliver all the information we needed about the couch, including the excellent sale price and the complimentary matching pillows.

Since we were still looking for bedframes, we did not immediately buy the sofa, but we could not stop thinking about it all day. We returned to Dreamland about an hour before they were due to close, and Jonny was still there. He greeted us as if we were old friends and asked what he could do for us. We told him that we would like to purchase the couch we had seen earlier, which he remembered, and then promptly began the purchasing process with us. It was quick and easy with virtually nonexistent paperwork and Dreamland even included a choice of a small thank you gift (different types of king-sized candy, a few book choices, and I forget what else, but several fun, nice choices), which I thought was sweet and endearing.

Jonny was the kind of employee who you can easily and comfortably chat with even beyond talking about just the sale, as if he were an old acquaintance. He was personable, helpful, attentive to our needs and wants, and, perhaps most importantly, he was not pushy WHATSOEVER! He made the sale simply because he came across as a good, trustworthy guy who knew what he was talking about, plus he already knew the value of what he had to sell.

The furniture at Dreamland is so nice and such good quality that it basically speaks for itself...and sells itself too! Their selection of living room furniture, mattresses, and bed frames was satisfactory, considering it is a somewhat smaller local store instead of a big chain.

In addition to furniture, be sure to carefully check out the walls as there are various wall hangings and art to add to the decor throughout your home. I really liked that a lot of it was Christian-based (bible verses as well as just plain wholesome and fun sayings and imagery). If I'm not mistaken, I believe the business is Christian-owned, which I LOVE! I was so pleased to support a local business, and I would highly recommend shopping here!

My husband and I went to DreamLand in search of a new mattress. In my mind I thought I knew what I wanted, having a certain brand name in mind. I had asked Jesse if he carried that brand, which he did not. He was pleasant answering me, and told my husband and I what he has and explained the pro's and con's of the brand I was in search of... compared to what he has. He was very knowledgeable and discussed how the mattresses are made in detail, and listened to what my husband and I were looking for. Jesse gave us a suggestion, in which, we did try out. One week later, we returned to DreamLand after I had did my research on points that Jesse brought up about the other brand I was initially looking for... as my husband and I walked in, I saw Jesse and said, "You were right and I was wrong." Jesse just smiled. That day we purchased an adjustable bed with the Beauty Rest Harmony mattresses. Its now been approximately three weeks since Raymond and Ben had delivered and set-up the adjustable bed. They did such a great job and explained everything to us, making sure we were happy with the height of the bed and understood the remote functions. I will say, both my husband and I are very happy with the bed and the Beauty Rest Harmony mattress, we have been sleeping great and not waking up with aches. I will return to DreamLand for any...

I absolutely loathe how “most” mattress stores and salespeople operate, and the idea of mattress shopping in that environment gives me a lot of anxiety. (This is the polite version of how I really feel.)

Jesse and his team at Dreamland take everything I hate about mattress shopping out of the equation. Jesse is one of the best salespeople I know. He gives zero pressure, zero hype, and zero BS. He is only there to HELP his customers solve their sleep problems with his vast knowledge and products.

Then, on top of that, his products are of high quality and his prices are very fair. No predatory pricing at Dreamland.

Bottom line: Jesse takes all the pain out of mattress shopping. There’s a reason I drove in from Ohio the first time I purchased from him, and now this time we live even further away but took advantage of a trip to PA to buy adjustable bases and two lift recliners. (I did not intend to buy the recliners, but Jesse quietly solved some big problems for us and I cheerfully gave him my money!)

One of my friends who is local to Dreamland even had him ship mattresses to their Florida home rather than deal with the nightmare of mattress shopping down there.
