International Sports Training Camp — Local services in Jackson Township

ISTC is a one of a kind magical experience for a camper. My son attended almost every summer from age 6 until HS graduation. He was (and still holds the record) for the youngest camper. No, six is not permitted any longer but I am very grateful that he had the opportunity. He is a college sophomore now and still speaks fondly of his first counselors. The mostly international staff come from all corners of the world and are molded into a cohesive force by the camp directors every year. Many staff return ( a considerable feat coordinating their work schedules) for as many years as they can. They are well trained, nurturing, engaging, open,professional, fun and extremely knowledgeable. Campers are encouraged to be kind and respectful with each other; to do their best; to support each other; and to try new things. All feedback and interactions are positive. All decisions and policies are made with your child's development and safety in mind. In fact, safety is a top priority. The directors are 'way ahead of you' with regard to safety. ISTC is an incredibly well organised and friendly environment for children to spend amazing action packed summers! The facilities are second to none and the staff are of the highest quality. The incredible pictures or footage you may have seen of ISTC do not do justice to how high of a standard this summer camp is. Having witnessed first hand the lengths that the directors go to in ensuring site security, staff training and facility maintenance, I cannot recommend this establishment enough. My daughter attended here for the first time last summer and LOVED it. She is an only child and we were concerned about her being away as she was a bit timid. It was never an issue.
