MARATHON GROCERY — Local services in Jackson Township

I love this little mom and pop small town store. Rocky and his wife have invested so much time and effort into bringing this old store back to its previous good place to go. Rocky will always treat customers and tag-a-longs with a genuine respect. Rocky and his family are from India as apposed to the previous owner who bought the store for his wife so she doesn't get bored. HUUUUUUUGE mistake! I believe the previous pakistani owner had no interest in WE THE PEOPLE that routinely go to this store. They LITERALLY WOULD FOLLOW PATRONS IN THE STORE!!!??? See bad meat out of the deli case, expired food on the shelves. They NEVER looked you in the eye, in fact their constant shadow and NO social skills constantly made you feel naked, ugly and like you are a thief.. THANK GOD FOR ROCKY AND his family. First and foremost they are so gentle, kind and smart. Not to be mean but Rocky and his wife and kids are the polar opposite from the pakistani weirdos that had no respect or kind word for Christian Americans. Know that Rocky, and kids are ALL legitimate naturalized Americans,, PAY THEIR TAXES, are peaceful and once they know you they will always show concern for you and yours. Order and stock exactly what you're looking for if available. My dad whom only went there 2-3 times recently died and Rocky and his oldest son came and showed their respect🙏💯🇺🇸🤓 now thats a small LOCAL owned and operated store. Please don't be disrespectful to them they are so kind and generous. Not to be confused with Pakistani ppl it doesn't belong to India anymore and they're under religious law...

Beer is usually warm, I like it cold!! The one positive thing I can say, is that they are always open! have purchased a couple items with bad dates, ( possibly just an overlook) we all get busy!!
