No longer purchasing from this store. I recently visited and purchased a kitchen-aid dishwasher and paid to have it installed as well. I had measured and re-measured the space under my counter and found that it would fit. When the installers came I was out of town, so they dealt with my wife. They measured the distance from my floor to counter, said it was too short, and promptly left. So, here's the thing. The low point of my counter top is 33" and 3/4". I was later told the tech measured 33" and 5/8" and that this was too low and that he needed 34" AT LEAST to be able to "mount it". Well guess what, I just purchased the same dishwasher from a different retailer in Burnsville (for cheaper by the way) and just finished putting it in myself (took less than an hour). It fits -perfectly-. Oh, and the installation manual had EXPLICIT INSTRUCTIONS on the one small adjustment needed to install in the dishwasher in a 33" and 5/8" space. I was able to use the included mounts to secure it under the counter. So, Mike, if you're reading this, remember how you told me your install tech had been doing this for 15 years? Well take it from me, a guy can be bad at something for a VERY long time. I had already picked out a washer/dryer combo and was also looking at your stoves, but you can keep 'em. For a small business that prides itself on better service than the big guys, you have completely failed. I have bumped my rating up to 2 stars purely for the speed at which my refund...

I came here to buy local. Had to replace my stove that shorted out. At first, I thought it was a good experience. My only real gripe was I set my install for the afternoon and they showed up at like 9am while I was sleeping as I do shift work.

The stove I bought did have warnings about a flimsy storage drawer. Boy they were right. I can't fault the store for this. However, I kept noticing my drawer would get stuck when I tried to pull it out. Eventually, I removed it to see what was going on. The right track on my "brand new" stove was all dented up. That's what made it keep getting stuck.

I could overlook these things. What I cannot is that my stove surface is dangerously hot. I cannot even set something on low heat without it reaching boiling point. I scorched my chili setting on low after walking away for an hour. Came back and it was almost a rolling boil. Ruined the batch. I cooked a steak on the lowest setting and got a nice sear. After this .... I pulled out my infrared temp monitor. On the LOWEST SETTING ON THE STOVE..... IT REACHED 550 DEGREES!!! So now I either have to deal with it or pay to have someone come out and adjust the controller. Very disappointed, should have gone...

My Appliance Source! I’m not sure why anyone would go anywhere else!

Both of my refrigerators died in the same week. Since it was winter in Minnesota, I had time to look around to see what I wanted, and shop price. I checked with big box retailers, home improvements stores, appliance-only chains, discount stores, and did my research online. I didn’t expect this little ‘mom & pop’ shop off 169 in Shakopee to be able to compete with those big guys. I was right! They didn’t compete… They beat the lowest price by several hundred dollars! Talk about honest pricing! And they really know their appliances, too! They gave me a loaner fridge while I waited for my order to come in … which was just a few days. And when the guys came to deliver they were respectful and careful with both my new appliance and my floors and doorways.
