Not even 15 minutes ago, I called in and began a very emotional and vulnerable conversation with you about a revelation I received just last night, for a place I didn't know existed until this morning. I found a place where my son could grow more in Christ and have fun, too. I was excited about sharing with other believers and my church family.
Instead of interrupting, meeting me where I was, or just hearing me out, you hung up on me. The ordained minister, shepherd of the flock and my brother in Christ, hung up on me. You failed to show any compassion, any mercy, and you'll have to answer for that.
I am deeply saddened that this was my experience with a fellow believer, and my introduction to Streamside. If you are the leadership, I wouldn't trust that those under you wouldn't reflect your attitude and and/or your behavior.
Suffice it to say, I won't be registering my son, nor would I recommend it to anyone else. I won't slander you nor Streamside, or have anything negative to say about either. I just wanted you to know how I felt and hope no one else has to have the experience I did.

Read moreI've always wonder about camp streamside last time I was there was in 1981. I'm from Paterson New Jersey and attended Madison Ave Christian Church Pastor John. I forgot the name of female swimming teacher at that time. The last day of camp I was on the bus crying I didn't wanted to go back home and the swimming teacher came on the bus gave me a hug and kiss me in my cheek. I still remember two of the church song one was he's my rock my soul my shield and the other one where marching up to Zion.. I remember the camp went on that long mountain hike and someone bump into a bee hive it went a lil crazy.. I only can remember to other personal it was two twin sister who work at the camp also forgot their name.. great memories that I still think...
