The most photogenic spot in all of Grand Teton!
Absolutely stunning! Mormon Row is hands down one of the most iconic and photogenic locations we’ve ever visited. Those weathered barns with the dramatic Teton Range rising directly behind them create the perfect composition - it’s like nature and history collaborated to give photographers the ultimate shot!
The contrast is incredible - these rustic, weathered homestead structures sitting in the wide open meadow with those massive granite peaks towering in the background. We spent over an hour here just walking around and capturing different angles. Every single shot looked like it belonged in National Geographic!
What makes this place so special is the storytelling aspect. These aren’t just pretty barns - they’re remnants of the Mormon pioneers who settled this valley in the 1890s. Standing there, you can almost imagine what life must have been like for those early settlers, waking up to this incredible mountain backdrop every single day.
The lighting here is magical throughout the day, but we hit it during golden hour and the warm light on the weathered wood with the snow-capped peaks glowing in the background was absolutely breathtaking. Even my wife, who usually gets impatient with my photography obsession, was snapping away!
This is THE spot for that classic Grand Teton postcard shot. Whether you’re a serious photographer or just want some incredible vacation photos, Mormon Row is an absolute must-visit!...

What made our visit even more special was the abundance of wildlife in the area. We saw a huge herd of bison grazing nearby—dozens of them moving across the open fields. It was incredible to see them so close in their natural habitat, especially with the Tetons towering in the background. We also spotted pronghorn and a variety of birds, so keep your camera ready.
