First time buying a car and it has been the worse experience of my life. On March 18, 2021, I put $5,000 down on the 1st car (2016 Chrysler 200), and two weeks later it was already having problems. The rim was cracked and it had an oil leak. Tried to tell them about it as quickly as I could but they wouldn't answer the phone or say they'll get back to me. Days turned into weeks and whenever they did get to "fixing" the car and said it should have no problems, it was still having problems.

After finally getting them on the phone and telling them about the problem,they told me to just come trade it in. Thinking they were trying to correct their mistake,I traded it in for a 2018 Hyundai Elantra on August 19, 2021. I was told it was basically brand new and NOTHING was wrong with it. Even shown us information on the car. After having my boyfriend, whose knowledge of cars is much better than my own, helped me check the car out and we got it that day.

Well on September 7, 2021--19 days after trading in the Chrysler--the engine blew when I was heading to work and the wheel locked up while I was driving and I went into a ditch full of water. Wasn't even going 5 miles over the speed limit before it happened. After letting my boyfriend and his dad look at the car, they found evidence that the vehicle was in an accident,which I was not notified about or was it explained in the paperwork. Dealership was notified the same day but stated that is was out of there hands because the car still had manufacturer warranty. Manufacturer stated that the warranty was voided due to vehicle having water damage,so they told to let insurance handle it. Insurance said they won't do anything about it since the damage to the car was not made by the water. My boyfriend and I have talk the Louisiana Department of Used Motor Vehicles but they said there's nothing they can do about this since it was a matter of insurance or something along...

I drove almost 2 hours to look at a vehicle that I was told was in great shape, but once getting there the car was anything but. Paint damage, missing trunk bed, lettering on vehicle missing randomly, car handled like it has been rolled and had exposed wiring in the trunk. When I politely declined the woman let me know that her bumper was tied in with straps and that there was nothing wrong with the car with glaring problems. Still fine until the main guy decided to get an attitude with us as we were entering or vehicle to leave. Normally don't post reviews but I feel like they wasted my time and gas only to try and guilt me into a purchase.

Edit since you can't reply to the response: You are correct about me getting into the vehicle to leave because unless you speak magic the woman that lied to me said enough. You didn't come to check on anything, you were following the other people out the door that were there the same time we were. At least you didn't dispute the condition of the vehicle which I'll give you credit for but don't pretend that anything about our interaction that day was professional from the original call to the attempted strong arming as we left. I see now looking at the other reviews left that this seems to be standard operating procedure for you, so I hope this helps people in the future with...

Where to start with this one. Dont risk it like we did!! We purchased a preowned Jeep in Oct 2018 from here with an extended warranty. Clear carfax report, heard how it belonged to one of the people who worked there etc etc-so it had to be great right? WRONG! By Dec of same year, (2 months later) the check engine light was on and a slight miss. We couldnt take it back to them for repairs bc they dont have a repair shop. We were without a vehicle for 8 months having it repaired and fighting with the extended warranty company they sold us. Long story short, we had to REPLACE THE MOTOR with no help from the warranty we purcheased because this "great vehicle that was owned by family of an employee" had SALVAGE YARD PARTS ON THE MOTOR making it not qualify for assistance with the extended warranty. We posted this story and rating a few months back only to take it down after they begged and PROMISED to help us!! We took it down, nothing happened and they still wont make right what they have caused us.
