I just left this place. I'm from here, and live around the corner from this place and was looking forward to taking a peak inside for quite a while. My husband and I stopped by today with my 5 year old daughter. I'm 23 weeks pregnant so I have to use the restroom often. I go on ahead of them and upon walking in I see by the front door a sign that has a key for the bathroom, and I wait patiently to ask the lady at the counter where the restroom is. After she's done assisting the lady who is checking out she turns to me and tells me the line forms the other way, I respond with "I just need to know where the restroom is". She gives me directions to the restroom and it's good to go. I come back after I'm done to return the key and I hear the lady talking to a co-worker (I'm assuming the other woman was also an employee) about how somebody was waiting for the bathroom and was standing in the middle of the way, and the other girl responds with "some people just don't have common sense." I immediatley found my husband and daughter and told them we were leaving and as my husband was asking why, and we were walking past the two women, I responded to him saying "apparently I don't have common sense." I've never been here before, all I needed was directions to the bathroom, I don't see why me not getting in line for one sentence that could have been stated while handling the customer at check out deems me as having no common sense, and I was very offended by the way these employees acted. I was very disheartened because the items in there looked very neat and I would have loved to have gone home with some of them, but I refuse to shop at any place of business that does not respect it's customers, especially pregnant ones that are in need of a restroom. Very disappointed, would not recommend to anyone looking for quality customer...
Read moreAVOID THIS PLACE unless you like being treated like dirt!! I am new in the area and needing furniture for my home. I purchased at least $250 in products. One product had decorative dangle items and a box with openings for light to shine through had a string of battery powered lights and I bought a coffee table and matching end table. When I loaded the item with the dangly decor into my truck, I noticed one was missing. I ran back into the store to ask if they noticed it laying on the counter and the clerk informed me she put it in my bag. When I arrived home the piece was NOT in my bag AND the string of lights on the back of the decor item was missing from my bag. Donât appreciate being lied to!!! I called a couple days later about the timeframe I had to pick up the tables and the clerk said I was informed I only had 24hrs to pick it up. I explained I wasnât told anything!! Today I went by to pick them up but unfortunately I didnât have anyone able to help me. I had asked them to move it to the front because I didnât want to break anything. They didnât. The owner sharply says, you were told to bring help. I explained I was new in the area and I didnât know anyone to ask. She snapped back with a nasty attitude saying they learned their lesson years ago not to do it for anyone. Then I asked about the piece which was broken off and once again she bluntly told me I took it when I paid for the table. I explained to her that I didnât take it, her clerk kept it. She still didnât listen and was so hateful!! I understand people having a bad day but sheâs the business owner and youâd think she would be nicer to the customers. There was a young lady that offered to help me and while we were loading into my truck and even she was surprised with the womanâs hateful attitude! Wonât be...
Read moreTerrible experience and not worth the drive. The 1st thing that caught my attention was the bold colored "all prices are firm" sign on the doors which made me miss the smaller lower placed sign "no food or drinks." An unfriendly woman at the counter stopped me to say we don't allow drinks and did offer a small place on the counter. Another couple was stopped with a water bottle! She said I could leave it or take it out that she didn't care. I indicated that I would leave and she didn't care! She was the rudest and most unfriendly person in a flea market or shop I've come across traveling in at least 4 states. The prices were high for the venue and I've seen better quality & less expensive clothes in a goodwill outlet. Needless to say, I had made up mind in the first 15 seconds I wasn't going to purchase anything but would honor my wife's request to browse. She didn't like the place either. I can under why Google analytics rates the length of time from 20 minutes to 1 hr. 20 minutes to browse +/-31k Sq ft should tell someone something. But the obvious is they're more concerned with you not eating, drinking, or stealing than selling. They sell popcorn with a "do not eat in store?" tag! They must think we're all children and thieves who can't trusted. Don't recommend this place and they should think about another line of work. That's the impression...
