Future Champions Sports Complex — Local services in Jacksonville

We recently ordered dinner from the Future Champions kitchen,also included is the currently online posted menu. We ordered several items from the menu as a “carry out order “. Even though, when the kitchen is closed, we were able to pre order our dinner via text message to Adam and everything was ready for pick up at our convenience. My reviews are from my personal experience and my own opinions. I will share our choices for dinner. We began with the “Starters” that included Loaded pulled pork nachos,breaded mushrooms, jalapeño & cream cheese poppers and wings. They offered both,bone-in and boneless. Just note, the boneless wings are more like fast food chicken nuggets than a chicken tender type that I expected. Moving on to the “Heavy Hitters” portion of the menu, Pulled Pork sandwich with the Fries, and a Steak Bowl was my choice. The Steak Bowl contains a thick and delicious ribeye steak, served on a bed of French Fries,peppers and onions , topped off with some cheese sauce and bbq sauce. Note the fries are going to be a little saturated with moisture when serving this dish in a carry out styrofoam container. This is no fault to the establishment, and would be a great choice if served in their dining area. They offer Wings special on Wednesday night and their Thursday night dinner specials would be my favorite, a Steakhouse type meal with sides for $30! The facilities were great. Everything organized and clean. Ball fields nice. Play ground covered with net which allowed our daughter to play safely. Several cages for our boys to warm up in. Since they won First Place, my son received a trophy. Two days after tournament, little sister accidently broke the trophy. My son is very proud of trophy and I knew he would be very upset. I called Lenz Field about a replacement. Tom Lenz answered phone. He was very kind and professional. With no hesitation, he said “he would mail us a new trophy”. The next day we received the new trophy. I let my son open new box and explained what had happened. He did not know previous trophy broke. Because of Tom’s action, we had no “problems” at home because of the accident. This was huge and greatly appreciated. My son, again, has an intact trophy which he is very proud of. We had a great overall experience with the Lenz Sports Complex experience. But Tom Lenz went beyond the call of duty to replace the trophy. That...

Not a bad set of fields. The turf is nice, concert around to walk on, high backstops and lots of practice area.

Needs more bathrooms, concession windows and seating. Lots of the protective pvc and other ground stuff is busted up so maybe some up keep maintenance time. Just a few coats of safety paint would give a better first impression.

Parking is crowded and if a few cars go the wrong way or park odd it throws it off, maybe some arrows down to direct traffic.

I do like the playground in the middle so the little ones are easy to watch and close to bathrooms and concession stand. I give that designer one of the stars.

On our tournament weekend it was ran pretty poorly, I’m not sure how we got so far behind on timed games; I still haven’t been told an answer besides the lights went for awhile.
