First of all, may I say that we just got hit by Hurricane Florence in Jacksonville, NC. Our town is struggling to come back. Especially with things like grocery stores, food establishments, any fast food you that you could think of, plus a lot of gas stations are all down. That's due to do to The continual loss of electricity up and down western. MILK. I went on a mission to try to get milk, fruit, and at least PB and J the old stand-bys. I had pulled in to the Sam's club last night trying to look for milk and was blessed to find Teresa who is an employee of the Piggly Wiggly at 8406 Richlands Highway. Since I am disabled she called ahead to the store and she had told me that she would pull 2 gallons of milk aside for me today. She did that in her off time. Talk about AMAZING! I spoke to Ian, from the to 2960 Richlands Hwy. trying to locate Teresa. I located the wrong store, but let me tell you something...Ian has INCREDIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! Some of the BEST that I've had since we've been in North Carolina! Teresa as well. I hope and pray that they both will do well in their fields. They deserve raises and all that...

I've been shopping there for quite some times and they have always had everything that I needed but now since someone is going to retire . This Piggly wiggly is not the down-home store like it used to be anymore it's Piggly wiggly without all your store items at Piggly wiggly has. If you're still looking as to pick up a few things and not be the perfect little Piggly wiggly convenience store. And the reason why I say it's like a convenience stores because they don't have all grocery store items. it's still a friendly store . Besides...there isn't a thing wrong with patronizing local businesses because they were there before Walmark was even a thought.
Prices are high anywhere you shop nowadays, and other business owners gotta eat too. The Jacksonville area is a good touch for the one store on 24/258. You can purchase restaurant grade material as well....
