After posting this review, I received a phone call from two different supervisors in our local office. Both were extremely apologetic and helpful in rectifying the situation. My experience today was the complete opposite to the prior. I changed the rating for 1 to 4 just because the local supervisors took time to actually call me and address my issues. Unfortunately, the national call center you get when you call the 800 number is not nearly as understanding or concerned. Republic has no customer service what so ever. They will charge for every little thing and their rates have gone up without being notified. When I contacted them to discuss the issue, the supervisor was rude and unconcerned. After discussing the matter and not being able to rectify the issue, I canceled my service. The supervisor could care less and basically told me there was nothing that she could or would do to fix the problem. I called to stop my services twice that day and was insured that they are canceling my services HOWEVER a few months later I notice I'm still being charged!!! I called and demanded a refund. They said they will submit for a refund. I continue to see charges on my account so I emailed and explain that my service has been canceled most ago. They say well that was just "your last bill" I was like ummm noooo. Today I see yet another charge. I call and keep getting transferred to different departments ( I would've driven up there in person at this point) however there is no address I can find another than a PO BOX. I talk to 3 different people today none of which seem to care to help. I ask for a refund they say we can't do a refund until you stop services! I LITERALLY HAVE AND AM TRYING TO!!!!! So they transfer me and the guy says his department "does not have access to cancel my account" I tell him transfer me to a manager he doenst want to!!! Now I am on hold and no telling how long...
   Read moreUpdate- since I can't leave another review. They emailed me and said someone will contact me. I NEVER heard back. I sent another email and they just ignored that one. They still miss about half of the pickups. When I call local they tell me they will come and never do.
Well, I can honestly tell you the owner lied in his statement. They have missed over 40, yes 40 pick ups this year that I paid for. When I complained they basically said I lied about it and they don't enforce their employees to do their job. Don't try and talk to a supervisor locally.
