Salesman ordered the wrong set which I realized a few days later while measuring my kitchen space w dining set measurements by bumping the receipt against website skus. I called to get corrected which was done simply enuf over the phone via a link to pay the difference in price. However I did NOT double check new receipt after printing it out other than to see that the price was correct. When the cottage dining set arrived, height was right but table shape was wrong... The installers allowed me to use the table until the correct shaped one was delivered 6 days later. Installs were both great altho I DID tip out 2x because 2 diff teams & delivery guys shouldn't have been penalized for having to remove one table & deliver/set up another... Both teams of guys were efficient, knowledgeable & friendly. My complaint is that the salespeople/ managers should probably take more care when writing skus. I can understand how it happened because the big sales placard has sku w it but other skus for different color furniture or size not on it? I think a good solution to the original problem at the store would be for the person at the payment desk who is typing in the order to audibly verify w customer the style, height, shape of whatever is being entered into computer. This process would correct problems before they occur and make customer feel valued instead of ignored while standing & waiting to pay... As per the set itself, nice quality, perfect height (counter size) and fits well...
Read moreService is bad. We bought a $800 table and chairs. It was delivered to our home, by Rooms to Go a few days later. When the table arrived, the box the table was in was in rough shape, and you could hear that the hardware was not properly secured, so it was falling around in the large box. We are now missing bolts and washers, leaving us unable to put the table together, not the end of the world, but very annoying. We called the store for help. We spoke to Lisa, the manager at the store. She was unempathetic and unwilling to offer help or any type of discount for the inconvenience Rooms to Go created. Extremely bad service. The vibe was essentially that she couldn't care less and that she just wanted to get off of the phone. This lack of willingness to help is the most frustrating part, especially from a manager. When we called customer service to have the missing hardware sent to us, we were not greeted kindly, but instead told that all sales were final. We will get the hardware in 3-5 days. The furniture is nice when you are finally able to put it together, but the customer service is bad enough that we will probably not shop from this company again and recommend you consider our experience before...
Read moreI had gone a few days earlier looking for a dining set for my girlfriend who was working that day. I had a typical salesman greet me and I said to him that I was just looking. He was a little pushy and followed me around the store. Still he was friendly and kept telling things that I wasn’t interested in. No biggie. I took a picture of the dining set and texted it to my girlfriend. A few days later we returned and were greeted by a nice lady by the name of Aida. I told her that we were probably going for the specific set. She seemed genuine and said no problem and that she’d be around should we have questions. She made us feel more comfortable browsing on our own without following us around the store. She kept her distance but was still watchful so as soon as we needed her assistance she was ready to help. We enjoyed dealing with her and she was pretty helpful. When we needed to purchase more furniture we’d definitely look for her. Thank you for making our purchase so...
