The Flipping Rooster! Let me tell you this is one cool, place to check out! Retired military / family owned, wonderful friendly service! I had the pleasure to chat with owner Barry, who is extremely passionate about his business and has been doing it for decades. If you’re looking for an antique shop, collectibles, furniture, household items , this is the place to visit!!!! Check them out you will not be disappointed!!!🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽😃😃😃

Cool spot. Lots of things to see. Didn't notice any outrageous prices like some other area antique stores. The layout is a little weird so it'll take you a bit to make sure you see it all. We were greeted as soon as we walked in the door. The a/c was kicking, and considering the Temps lately, that's a plus. Parking is adequate but larger vehicles may have issues. A few small vendors outside as well. Would go back.

Must stop place if visiting or residing in Jacksonville NC. Home of the Marine! So much cool stuff inside. I enjoy exploring and finding cool things. Barry and his team are very knowledgeable in antiques and much more. I think it’s important to support veteran own business. Thanks again guys for all your help. Looking forward to the next visit and what treasures awaits. Andrew

Very disappointed in TFR Estate Sales

I followed this estate sale for a week and was looking forward to purchasing some art supplies and equipment. TFR advertised this was a really big sale and would take 3 days. You could not get the address until the day before the sale. The day before the sale when checking for the address I noted it was stated some craftsman tool cabinets would not be available as previously listed, but there was no mention of other items not being available. I drove 2 hours and arrived an hour early so I would be one of the first people in line to enter the sale. Supposedly the photos showed 3 pottery wheels and 2 pottery kilns for sale. The kilns looked almost new and the pottery wheels looked to be in good shape. There also was a lot of painting supplies, canvases, easels and glazes. After waiting an hour to enter the home ( I was the seventh person in line… 20 were let in initially) I asked along with another lady who was number 3 in line where the art/ studio items were located. We both were informed the items had all been sold prior to the start of the sale. This appears to be false advertisement…. Listing items for sale to get people there and then not offering any of the items for sale. The gentleman running the sale told me I should have called before hand. Seems to me, if you advertise an Estate Sale starting at a specific time you should not sell the items prior to the start of the sale. It should be the responsibility of the organizer to keep the customers up to date of items removed from the sale if sales are made early. My advice…. Don’t expect to see advertised items to actually be available at TFR Estate Sales. Their advertising is...

Oh my gosh, this place is absolutely incredible! It’s filled with these amazing, unique, and fabulous items that are just breathtaking. And the best part? The prices are super reasonable, and you can always haggle a bit if you want.

I could spend hours wandering around inside the store or outside in the sheds just looking. It’s like a treasure trove of wonders!

The staff is also super friendly and goes above and beyond to help you out. They really care about making sure you have a great time and want to make sure you leave with...

Looks like if a store was going to shut down “indefinitely” they would post it on a public page. Drove a good deal out of my way to find that BOTH stores are closed indefinitely. I mentioned to someone there that they might want to make the public aware somehow, Facebook, message on their phone, any number of public forums that can be used. I was met with a blank stare. Pretty sketchy. I’ll never go back to see if...
