Janesville Youth Sports Complex — Local services in Janesville

We were there for a baseball tournament 3 times regretfully. Each time there was a $10.00 parking fee, the pizza was cold and burnt, lack of bathroom amenities and games are rigged for the Jay's to win. We overheard the commissioner talking with our umpires about giving the Jay's all the calls in their favor. For their next games. We were not even playing them at this time. When we approached her about it she said it wasn't her talking to them.... she was clearly for the Jay's with all her game gear on and a coach by her side. Let's not forget the high 5's the players gave to the umpires then say "it's their umpires. Calls by the umpire were unfair and bias. Less teams were coming to the field. One night we were to have an 8:30 game that never started til 10:30 with the lights shutting off within 15 minutes. Called the game after 45 minutes of playing because it got too late and we never got to finish the inning. Totally unorganized. We are not planning on anymore tournaments there ever!...

Fantastic complex. My daughter played here on a Janesville rec league and my son played here for a tournament with his traveling team. The fields are very well maintained. Dugouts are very nice. Spectators are elevated above the playing surface with great viewing. The netting and spectator protection is better than most with the only area not being covered by netting being by the concessions. Most seating is covered by netting. Parking can be tough during tournaments, but we have been able to find a decently close spot for every game. Great complex to play and view softball/baseball. Concessions are quality and they always seem to have lots of people serving to keep...

The people who designed this complex had no idea what they were doing. I have three young children who have to come with me to see their sister play in softball tournaments every weekend. This complex has no playground anywhere near the softball fields. There is one about a mile away at the other end of the complex by the soccer fields and it is horrible. There was no one around and there is no way I could let my kids go there and play by themselves. I would highly suggest boycotting this...
