We have our "regular" parts store back home, where all of the information for our vehicles is already loaded in the computer, but my son spotted this new store in Bloomington on our way to someone else. He suggested we give the new store a try, and itI was a total waste of 20-25min of our day.
I went ahead and stopped and, after making three trips to my vehicle (for information that probably wasn't even pertinent to the part that I needed ), and being belittled along with my son, we left empty-handed.
We should have walked out when the [shorter, middle-aged employee] laughed, and made a joke about my son's answer to his question (neither of us a mechanics which is why we asked about the belt in the first place), and then again when he belittled a gentleman who asked about a tool to remove a spark plug, but we didn't. At that point it became a 'mission' because he was being so condescending and rude to non-mechanics who asked questions in a parts store (the nerve!) while he was working on such a beautiful day. Needless to say we'll never be back!
