I cannot compliment Desirée enough! She is absolutely incredible and every couple needs her when planning their wedding!

My fiancé and I came to Desirée during a time of overwhelm and frustration. We were planning our wedding during difficult Covid times and had already planned a destination wedding out of town at a venue which we ultimately cancelled and went back to square one and planning all over again...this time a local wedding in our own backyard. With our new plan and having our wedding in our backyard we were so excited yet kept running into various logistical roadblocks and it became clear we needed help! This led us on a search for a Wedding Planner and we were SO incredibly fortunate to have found Desirée!!! What led us to seek her out in the first place were the rave reviews we had read about Verve Event Co and Desirée online, and when we connected, we just knew she was the perfect fit and that we were on the same page!

When Desirée entered our lives and began to help us plan our wedding our stress completely disappeared! She was prompt with all of our correspondence, attentive, organized and knowledgeable. She offered guidance in every wedding category that we needed help with and she always kept the right balance between letting us make decisions and guiding us when necessary, it was collaboration in the most perfect way. Desirée is incredibly organized and has phenomenal planning tools and a process in place to keep everything organized as well as everyone on the same page from vendors to essential wedding party members.

When it came time for our wedding day my fiancé and I were completely stress free and because of Desirée we were able to focus on the excitement of the day knowing we were in good hands. When we look back on our wedding day a month ago, we cannot imagine it without Desirée! She gave us a gift that will last a lifetime and that is the gift of enjoying our day and executing on every idea we had FLAWLESSLY! Nothing went wrong and we enjoyed every minute of our day and the only reason we were able to do that is because of her! She is professional and pours her heart into her work and is worth every penny!

My husband and I cannot say enough good about Desirée and recommend her to anyone needing help with their wedding (or even those that don't think they need her help)!! She is incredible to work with and gave us one of the greatest gifts of enjoying every minute of our wedding stress-free. A month later and we still cannot stop smiling and I'm not sure we ever will.

Before I hired Verve Event Co., I felt overwhelmed and scared to plan my wedding. I was concerned if it would be worth the extra expense and if we would get along for the many months we would be working together. We hired Desiree for Full Service Planning because I felt like she was going to give our wedding a lot of attention and make it really special. The other planner I interviewed seemed like her weddings were much more formulaic and she didn't seem to be as creative. I am so glad we chose Verve Event Co. because it was the most beautiful wedding ever!! Tim (my husand) and I were also able to really enjoy it and just focus on having a great time with our guests because I knew Desiree was taking care of everything. It was awesome :) The room was so stunning and I was so happy with how it turned out. Desiree really did a seriously great job on pulling together the whole design - from the table settings, to the flowers. We had a "floral cloud" and everyone was in awe of it. People also loved all the vendors we chose, from the band, to the venue, to our signature cocktail named after our fur baby. My favorite part about working with Desiree was she made me feel really comfortable and like she had everything taken care of. I had multiple people tell me leading up to the wedding that I was the calmest bride they've ever seen, which is not my normal demeanor. But I knew Desiree had it under control and that it was going to be beautiful no matter what. Also, she worked with us as we continued changing what the overall "feel" of our wedding would be. We ended up changing our minds about what style of event we wanted in the beginning and she was super accommodating and understanding. She was also super organized and creative at the same time. I felt like she kept us on task and made sure we completed things on time, but also had great ideas for the design of the day. This was important to me because not everyone is so talented at both aspects of the planning. I loved having Desiree as our planner because I knew she was looking out for us every step of the way. I wish we could have Desiree planning the rest of our married...

When you start to plan a wedding, it can be overwhelming - you don't know what you don't know, and it is usually your first time planning an even to that scale! Before we hired Verve Event Co, we interviewed 2 other prospective planners. The fears that we had about working with a planner were mostly regarding cost and whether the services that you would be paying for were worth the price. However Verve's tiered options helped us realize that it could be in our budget. We chose to work with Verve Event Co. because Desirée was hands-down the best candidate for the job. The combination of her level of experience, personality and pricing plan made it simple to pull the trigger. We used Verve's Wedding Management service which allowed us to plan a gorgeous wedding and still have time for ourselves.

We decided to have our 140 person wedding in my parent's back yard. It was a big commitment up-front and we knew we would be doing a lot of it ourselves. However, I wanted to design the day myself, so this decision made it that I could execute every detail the way I wanted it. Verve was super helpful with helping us to organized our plans, stick to a schedule and execute the more practical elements of the day. The thing that most people talk about was the food, the details and the band. It meant a lot to me that people noticed all of the work that we put into the day, it was a true family affair and we could not have pulled it off without Desirée's help.

Desirée is extremely organized and responsive. She made us feel like we could ask any question and get honest and thoughtful advice. You can tell that she really loves what she does which makes her a pleasure to work with. I knew that I could rely on her to make the day turn out exactly how we envisioned it! Desirée's personality shines, she is enthusiastic about her business, she loves it! She is also extremely professional, organized and detail oriented - all qualities that are exactly what a planner should be.
