Airport Grocery — Local services in Jena

What a wonderful little truck stop! It was clean inside and even the bathrooms were spotless as well! And when it came to the selection of Beverages and snacks, I found myself almost boggled and twisted between this and that or maybe this! They had a huge assortment of tobacco products and if I was there to buy an alcoholic beverage then I would have come to the right place for sure! I decided to go with my normal and get my Big Red Bull and Reese's king sized Peanut Butter Cups. LOL, what a morning concoction that is for breakfast! They had a lovely little collection of what I call "truckstop food." So I also got me a corn dog it was hot and fresh just like I expected it to be. And for the Gambler in me oh, they had a lovely variety of Louisiana scratch off tickets. So I bought four of them as well and my cigarettes, which they actually had (jumping for joy) because very few places have them. And the price all together for everything that I got was reasonably acceptable. The staff was wearing their masks as they should have been and as I expected they should be, and they were very friendly. To be honest, people often wonder why people don't like to shop local. When you go into a store, you should be greeted with a "hello" or some sort of friendly gesture. A smile, a nod, something like that. Not when you get to the register, and all she says is "you want something?" Then, when my mom is nice and says thank you after you give her her bag of stuff, and just ignore her. 😡 So yes, i said "your welcome" because nobody is going to disrespect my momma like that. Most people who work there are super friendly, but this is like the third time this SAME lady is rude. Look, i get it, maybe you're tired or whatever, but it's barely 9:30 in the morning. And it cant be every time we come in. We've decided that the crispitos and corn dogs aren't that good to keep going back and be treated like that. And most people who know me, know that i usually let stuff like that slide, because i too have worked in the plublic. But one thing you're not gonna do is ignore and...

Literally went in to get 2 hamburgers with fries and 4 boudin balls. I wanted the hamburgers with everything but onions, add mustard. They gave me one hamburger with only ketchup and mustard. Not to mention they didn’t tell me they ran out of hamburger buns until they gave me the burger, they had to use white bread. I went in about the burger and they remade it, remade 1. Yet I told them 2. They said they only charged me for 1 tho, I would’ve paid for the other one. 🤦🏻‍♀️ At that time I wasn’t waiting ANOTHER 25 minutes. I got home to eat and on the burger they remade they put HONEY BUTTER on the white bread.
