It's right on the 8 toll road. So the easy way there you have to pay toll. There are backstreets you can take to get to it for free. Easy to see from the main highway and the GPS brings you right there. Very large complex. Outdoor parking was free. Although it was busy there is lots of parking spaces available. Most people were entering the north side but the south side has a ticket booth and entrance also, it's right by the elevators. Very well maintained grounds nice concrete walkways and the horses are out in the front to see them putting their saddles on. As you go through the door stop and get a program about three bucks. If you bet smart you can win quite a few. No need to pick the winner you can bet place or show and your odds of winning something are much better. Clean inside well swept everyone is very helpful and nice. It's so large it can be a little confusing until you get used to it. It is air conditioned when you go in and the second floor has a lot of restaurants and drink stands also the first floor. Lots of places to place your bets on both floors. For being a large public area with a few thousand people it's amazing how well they keep it clean no trash at all on the floor. Although it's like a football stadium this place is much cleaner and air conditioned. There's a buffet restaurant that you need to make reservations in advance for about 36 bucks and includes admission ticket. The tickets to get in or $5 or just an admission ticket to get in the building and see the races. General admission has plenty of seats and plenty of areas that are comfortable to watch the horses. If you want to reserve seating the seats give you a little more room for an extra $5 or so. But the free seating is very nice it's more like stadium or movie theater seating with individual seats and there is lots of room you're not jammed in. You go outside and everybody is screaming for their horse to win it's quite exciting. A lot of ladies are dressed and fancy hats and heels I think it's quite a thing to do. Some of the gentlemen were dressed in suits and ties with their ladies. But others and just jeans and t-shirts. We all seem to get along and everyone is very friendly. Just stress however you want to. But I don't think you could overdress if you tried. You'd feel right at home with the other people. The third floor has sweets where companies appear to rent them and have little company parties. If you check the promotions on their website you can find some days of food promotions others have live music and antique and classic car shows. I took a lot of photographs of what you can expect to see. Of the seating of the restaurants and the food prices, the food prices are great. 10 bucks at the taco place is enough to feed two people. $5 for a slice of pizza. And small children get in free. Great place to bring the whole family. I might say a nice air condition place to bring the whole family because it's very comfortable inside. It can get a little noisy when the racing starts as everybody is yelling for their horse to cheer them on. It was my first time here I plan on coming back again. I highly recommend this to anyone. The parking lot outside has security guards riding around in security vehicles and it feels and looks very safe. This isn't a nice industrial warehouse section of town. Very nice area. And they're off!!!! They have a couple of gift shops by the entryway, please help them out and buy something, the drink insulator cup holders are great deal for three bucks and a nice memento. We should be proud to have this in our community. I hope more people will spend their money there and help them out. This is a...
Read moreThis Place would be a great place to take your family & Kid's if the people who owned it cared more about family values then profits! Like more deals instead of being concerned about money, more events for kid's & parents this is not a kid friendly place this is the kind of place you need to hire a babysitter. Seems like there's nothing to do for kid's here. The prices are some what affordable due to the lack of customer service experience. I wouldn't come back Moe's Bbq was not a good place to dine. The girl's up there was not very nice nobody was smiling. They looked just as bad as they attitude i never seen them wash they hands the entire night. This place really could use a health inspection checking storage temperature and hand washing policy. The Tvs could seriously use an upgrade Technology has transformed alot over the last 25 year's you can't find these TVs at the pawn shops now day's. It's looks like a racist place if u asked me the color people working for whites & will never get a piece of the pie never be able to survive working for a company like this u will spend your whole life working to stay behind. This place could really use a new business plan they only worried about horses racing when so much more money could be made and more entertaining 25 year's of running a business like this im surprised it lasted as long considering nth has change beside people got old and realized they have worked at a race Park 25 year's now they life belongs to the race track that loves nobody! MONEY & HORSES NOT CUSTOMERS & ENTERTAINMENT FAMILY NEW VISITS AND KID'S 👎 DEFINITELY WILL NOT RECCOMEND A WASTE OF MONEY THERE'S ALOT OF PLACES THAT HAVE BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICE AND ENTERTAINMENT. THE TV'S ARE FROM 1880 A Waste of...
Read moreLet me just start by saying that this experience blew my mind. I was so impressed by this horse track race. I am in my 30s and I just had an incredible time. This was a family night out, and we decided to try something different from our usual movies and dinner routine.
We purchased our tickets at the door, and the ticketing person explained the various options. We had a box seat, but he kept mentioning the Winner’s Circle, where you could eat. Eventually, we upgraded our tickets to the Winner’s Circle, and that was the icing on the cake.
The Winner’s Circle offered comfortable seating, unlimited soda drinks, and unlimited visits to the buffet. The buffet wasn’t just hot dogs and hamburgers; it featured prime ribs, pork chops, and salmon. The rolls were warm and delicious, and the dessert selection included cookies, pies, and brownies, all set up neatly and always fresh.
Just the experience of the horse track was thrilling. We went outside for a bit to cheer on the horses, and it was an exciting experience that I can’t wait to repeat next season. The best part was how inexpensive and budget-friendly it was. Entry is only $5, which was a pleasant surprise.
One tip: bring cash! We couldn’t place bets because we didn’t have cash, and the ATM fees were high, so we opted out. Despite this, we thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
I truly highly recommend this venue if you’re looking for a family-friendly place. Whether you’re two years old or 80, it’s so much fun. From watching the horses as they take off their saddles to the thrill of them racing, and betting on who you think will win, it’s an awesome experience for the whole family.
