Blanco County Fair & Rodeo — Local services in Johnson City

I don't even know where to begin.... We went so our daughter could show her lambs. The lamb classes themselves were conveniently small, so the show was quick. It was somewhat unorganized, held down by the river instead of the show barn, which made for great pictures but it was hot as hell. The one thing I absolutely could not handle was having a twelve pack of beer sitting on the sign-in table, with multiple adult leaders standing around drinking. I have no problem with anyone drinking, but at a sign -in table at a YOUTH jackpot show?! At least put it in a koozie and don't have it on the...

A great local rodeo, livestock show and fair.

The rodeo was cheap to enter and had a full assortment of events. They added some fun kid events beyond the normal mutton bustin and calf scramble, such as the Stick Pony Barrel Racing for the real little ones.

I enjoyed the livestock show and watching the kids and their lambs & sheep get judged.
