State Park Store and Gift Shop — Local services in Johnson City

UPDATE: They were open a week ago from today 10/18/23. There was some equipment and construction materials that appeared to be for remodeling. I did not think to ask what was going on with all of it. Was not informed of any closure and did notice any news of that effect. Does not mean it wasnt planned. They did have a electronic machine to pay with I believe. It was out of order when arrived but was working when we left. The only thing I forgot to add that was actually for important and was told from a park employee/ranger that in no way should you stick your head under the water right now if went swimming. Informative and friendly. Was able to answer any and all questions I inquired. Borrowed Junior Ranger Backpack. We never got the chance to use it. Too much exploring hands on took up...
