Supermercado La Loma — Local services in Joliet

This place is decent for quick grocery shopping. I figured I tried the restaurant they have inside the store and honestly its alright. I wouldn't go there to eat often though. The corn is canned corn, the "asada" burrito's meat had a lot of the fatty hard rubbery part of the meat that nobody likes to eat. The burrito was missing more ingredients. It had more lettuce than meat. The pastor taco was ok. Also, it'd be nice if they could be a bit more hygienic when handling the food. Nobody wore gloves! I brought the stuff home to eat, hopefully my stomach doesn't get sick!

Besides the food, most staff are kind and friendly.

I'll continue shopping here ONLY. I am not sure about eating food from here again though.

I called to place a meat order for pick up. I was on hold for 18 minutes. I was still on hold while arrived to the establishment. The cashier was on her phone watching videos. The gentleman behind the meat counter didn't greet and just stood there and looked at me. At checkout the cashier wouldn't reach me than 2 inches to grab the items. Rude all around....

Convenient little grocery store that serves pretty good mexican food. Not the prettiest place but generally these smaller mexican stores aren't.
