If I could leave zero stars I would. We chose to have our granite countertops installed by Home Depot and this is the company they use to do it. DO NOT recommend. Long story short, I was home all day for the installation and they never communicated any issues with me about my cabinets or anything. They left and I caught them in time to ask them why there was about a half inch gap between my cabinets and granite and they replied “that’s how it has to be to be level”. When a manager was told about this they said they can come out to caulk it if we want. We said that’s unacceptable and they shouldn’t have left it like that. They also didn’t seal our backsplash so there’s a gap between the wall and granite. The company supervisor came out to inspect it and said since the workers didn’t double check the cabinets level after removal of previous counters, they had to put the wooden shims in place to level it however they should’ve given me an option of bringing the cabinets up before the granite was placed or placing the shims and leave a gap. They did not do any of this. Or the fact they don’t caulk the backsplash because “most people do it themselves anyway”. The supervisor said, “most people just want the job done so they don’t care about the gap”. They said we can either pay to have trim around the gap to cover it or pay someone to come in to raise the cabinets to close the gap. They told me the workers should have asked /communicated this to me before deciding for me what to do about the cabinets and not telling me about the caulking. But yet I’m supposed to pay for the resolution. They left a huge mess without any attempt to prevent one. Unacceptable and super unprofessional. Specifically because they also mentioned this has happened before (and currently fixing another job) and have had to talk to the same workers about it already.

I bought the house I was raised in, that my mom and dad built. We just finished remodeling our kitchen, and I had 60 year old white birch cabinets that were built in to the house. We went to Signature Stonecraft and picked out our granite and had our first estimate. Mind you I have over 80 square-foot of countertop space. Even in this time of inflation, the price was competitive and of the places we went looking for granite, this place had the one we wanted. I had Bobby come out because of knowing it was an old house and he told us his opinion and at the time we could not put stone on because of the house being so old, the cabinets were too uneven. I got my contractor to go in and add extra support and even up the cabinets, and had Bobby come back out. They were granite worthy, which made my wife a very happy person. With anything you will have to wait, and we did, but it was so worth it. We finally got to the installation day, and everything was great except for a the cut out for our sink, which was a farm sing. It set us back a couple of days, but they had a new piece ready to install 5 days later. If I built a new house, or do any remodeling where there was stone involved I would not hesitate to do business with this company. Both groups of installers were awesome, professional, and very accommodating to us. They come in leaving your kitchen cleaner than it was after installing the stone. BTW, if you are shopping at Lowe's or Home Depot and you are in the East Tennessee Area, you are likely already using this company because they are contracted out by the two mega stores to do their stone job. Deal directly with the company is all I have to say. The pictures say more than my review....

Awesome! Five Stars is not enough as on a scale of 1-5 these guys deserve a 10! Our first contact was Brennan when we stopped by to browse one afternoon and he was friendly & knowledgeable without pressuring us...a welcome relief after the other places we had been that day. The selections were beautiful and we found a gorgeous piece of granite, with which my wife & I both fell in love and put down a deposit. Due to a variety of issues it was several months before we were ready for our countertops but they never pestered us, but rather waited for us to contact them when we were ready. Brennan continued to be thorough and communicative throughout the templating process and installation, and when a crack developed (which we had been warned might happen because of the veins that ran through our slab) they respond perfectly. They took the broken pieces back to their shop and repaired it (actually reinforcing it stronger than it was originally) and return it. We were fortunate enough to get to meet the owner during one of our visits one day and she could not have been more polite or professional...instilling in us calm & confidence in her and her entire team. I have already sung the praises of Signature Stonecraft to many people...and will continue to do so. Thank You to the whole Team for our beautiful countertops.
