Mesa Market — Local services in Joshua Tree

They know they are pretty much the only option for gas up here in the Mesa and in my opinion they are too expensive, the store is not very clean and always has a rather unpleasant smell Everytime I step Inside not to mention the cashier's are a little rude and the owner always look at me as if they are judging me but that cud just be my normal paranoid self thinking too much or Maybe they really are taking my inventory lol whatevs UPDATE: TOTALLY JUST REALIZED THIS IS NOT HERO'S MARKET I REVIEWED BUT THIS IS IN FACT MESA MARKET AND I LOVE THIS LITTLE STORE. Now that this store has been sold to someone who has the ability to make much improvements this place seams more like a convenience store. Don't get me wrong the old owners were really cool and for a long the store had a friendly down home feel to it. I spent a lot of time here hanging out on the patio. Now the store offers a lot more products, hard liquor, and has been expanded to twice the size, not to mention that the refers are new and cold where as before you never knew if your drink would be due to the refers always breaking down. Wasn't able to park and go in, due to filming. Not the first time. As a very very local, I was willing to overlook prices for convenience. After this experience with the difficult people in the parking lot, the 4 mile, 50 cent round trip to Walmart, is well worth it. Even if they dont seem busy, I now refuse to give them my business. You'll save $1.50 on one soda if you drive 4 miles from This market to Walmart. You might as well do all your shopping there at Walmart. Seriously, one item pays for the gas. And then some.
