I want to take a moment to highlight the incredible work being done by the current event coordinator Melissa Ebright at Hobe Sound Farmers Market. Although she’s newer to the position, she has already made a phenomenal impact.
Her kindness, approachability, and dedication truly shine through in everything she does. She’s super friendly, engages with all the vendors, and genuinely cares about finding solutions to any challenges. I’ve personally witnessed her going out of her way to listen and help, which has been such a breath of fresh air compared to past coordinators.
Her engagement with both the vendors and the community has created such a positive, welcoming atmosphere, and I know many of the vendors feel the same. It’s clear she’s passionate about her work and the success of the market.
I sincerely hope she’s recognized for the amazing job she’s doing. She’s making a big difference, and the market is thriving under her care. Keep up the fantastic work—you’re appreciated more...
Read moreA wonderful addition to Martin County, the Hobe Sound Farmer's market is a place to visit for some local goods.
Everything from fresh produce, local meats (beef, chicken, pork), vegan soaps, fresh flowers, custom wood plaques, plants and so much more.
Not to mention in October the Pumpkin Patch has a nice selection of pumpkins and gourds from miniatures to very large ones.
Wear your rainboots if it's been raining, like today's visit, the place was a bit soggy but didn't deter the visitors and lots of fun for little ones.
Take an opportunity to get a fall photo with the family.
They also had two vendors, today, selling ice cream and I believe beer, definitely nice for the hot Florida weather.
The potential for this large scale area is grand. I hope as the season gets cooler, it will be filled with lots of wonderful things, I believe Christmas Trees will be here next.
Check it out and support local...
Read moreI LOVE FARMERS MARKETS like this one and love supporting small businesses!
For this reason I have to specifically point out the lazy business practices Painted Quarters Ranch employs…
#1 please have a better system in place to serve customers in a quick and orderly fashion that doesn’t cause a traffic jam at the market- I see no organization in how they handle their customers at all? 🚶♂️🚶🚶♂️🚶🏽🚶🏻♀️🚶🏾♂️
#2 I brought to their attention the discrepancy between two whole chickens I purchased (see picture) for one set price I don’t recall because I never got a receipt. A little off on weight is one thing, but a whole pound and a half short is another thing! ⚖️
When I spoke to the young lady who sold them to me, she couldn’t of cared less!😢
Small Businesses need to run a tight ships, just like Big Businesses, if they want to be taken seriously. I’m happy to pay more, but not because of lazy...
