I was referred to Hobe Sound Jewelers by a friend who highly recommended them. When I first visited with Kurt, I had general ideas of the type of engagement ring I was looking to buy for my girlfriend. Kurt spent time with me on the phone and in person to genuinely understand what I was looking for. He is a Master Jeweler, so he knows his stuff. He is not some mall jewelry salesperson. Learning from his father, Kurt has been working with jewelry all of his life. He is a perfectionist. To educate me and help me choose, we looked at selections under the microscope and with different tools. We took our time, because we wanted the perfect ring. Ultimately, Kurt searched the country and found the exact diamond I wanted. A day later, I viewed it in his shop. Next, we decided on a band / setting. Kurt created CAD drawings, we went back-and-forth until we got it just right, Kurt made a mold of the band, and he cast a platinum band. He made a one-of-a-kind ring for me. A week later, he set the stone in the band / setting. The ring is perfect. It’s really stunning. He had a ring box in the shape of a heart. Really perfect. A few weeks ago, I proposed, and my girlfriend said, “Yes.” She LOVES that her ring was made uniquely for her. We will go back soon to buy our wedding bands from Hobe Sound Jewelers. I am the owner of a animal cancer clinic in this plaza. I have a painful, terminal illness that affects my ability to walk, not park a car. I was verbally attacked by the owner when he made fun of my illness because he didn't approve of my parking job, which was not even an issue. He claimed that the police had to intervene in my parking of my car previously, which is untrue.
