Being an Asian person/minority, it can definitely be intimidating shopping in a very small town market where you’ll probably never find another minority, but I felt welcomed when I shopped here. We drove through here for some groceries on the way to the Badlands. They had most things I needed other than not having a ton of vegetables, but they had enough for a small market. The person who works at the meat section was very nice and asked if he could help me find anything and also made recommendations on beef selections. The beef is local and it was quite tasty in my book after trying it. After checking out, they even bagged my groceries and wheeled it out to my car. I’d say that’s pretty darn good customer...

My brother and I stopped here on our way to the Badlands. It was a detour off the freeway, and all we needed was a single roll of Pillsbury dough to deep fry some marshmallows, but boy was it worth it.
