we love going down to Haydu Park at the bottom of the Kalama river Rd. the park is new clean safe and fun for the kids. it's a wide open play area with lots of room to run play soccer swing play on the big toy go on a nature walk through the little forest to the river bank which is a mixed landscape of sandy beaches and river rock. we like to rock hunt (the kids pretend we are finding fossils just for fun) we fish a little bit sometimes and love to build shelters out of the sticks and drift wood we gather along the river bank. it's a great place to go hang out with your family to just spend time together without...

Love the outdoor arena. The Kalama fair is a very nice small town fair. Fri night barrel race and game show is always a great race. They have a band playing and a beer garden going on during the show. Racing with music playing...
